How to Print Google Calendar (Month, Week, or Agenda)

Google Calendar has a built-in print flow that produces clean, paper-friendly PDFs in month, week, day, or agenda layout. The default looks bland — a few options make it dramatically better.

Step-by-step

  1. Open calendar.google.com on a desktop browser.
  2. Pick the view you want to print: Day, Week, Month, or Schedule (agenda list) from the top-right view selector.
  3. Click the gear icon → Print, or press Ctrl/Cmd + P.
  4. In the print preview, set Print color (Color, Outline, or Black-and-white) and Font size.
  5. Pick a paper size (A4 or Letter) and orientation (Landscape gives a wider month grid).
  6. Click Print — or save as PDF.

Agenda style for a printable list

Switch to Schedule view first if you want a simple list of all events in a date range. The print output drops the grid and shows times + titles vertically — ideal for trip plans or meeting prep.

Print only certain calendars

Before printing, untick the calendars you don't want from the left sidebar. The print preview only includes visible calendars, so unticking work events is the fastest way to print a personal-only month.

If you need a fancier layout

For richly designed printable calendar templates (yearly grids, planner-style monthly pages, decorative themes), Google's own print output is intentionally minimal. Search for a dedicated printable calendar template instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I print only weekends?
Not directly. Print the week view and crop in PDF, or export to .ics and filter elsewhere.
Why is the print missing color?
Check that Print color in the print dialog is set to Color, not Outline or B/W.
