Apple Calendar
How to Add Any Calendar Account to Apple Calendar (iPhone & Mac)
Apple Calendar supports Google, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, Exchange, Yahoo, AOL, and generic CalDAV out of the box. Setup is the same for all.
Step-by-step
- On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account.
- Pick the provider (Google, Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo, etc.) or Other for generic CalDAV.
- Sign in with email and password — for Google and Microsoft you'll be redirected to their sign-in pages.
- Approve calendar (and optionally contacts and mail) access.
- Toggle Calendars on, then return to the Calendar app — the new calendar appears in seconds.
Generic CalDAV (Fastmail, iCloud, Nextcloud, etc.)
Choose Other → Add CalDAV Account. You'll need the server URL, your username, and password. Fastmail uses caldav.fastmail.com, Nextcloud uses your instance URL + /remote.php/dav.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add multiple Google accounts?
Yes — repeat the steps for each one. They each become separate accounts in the Calendar app.
Why don't my events appear after adding the account?
Pull-to-refresh in the Calendar app. If still missing, check that the Calendars toggle is on for the account, and check Calendars in the app's bottom bar to enable individual sub-calendars.
