Season structure

The 2026 F1 season features 24 Grand Prix weekends — the longest season in the sport's history. Six of those weekends include a Saturday sprint race (100 km, half points).

A typical race weekend runs Friday (practice), Saturday (qualifying or sprint), Sunday (race). Race start times vary by venue: most European races at 15:00 local, Singapore at 20:00 local for night-race conditions, Las Vegas at 22:00 local.

2026 is also a major regulation reset year — new chassis and power-unit rules dramatically change car design.
