How to Add the Manchester United Calendar to Google, Apple, or Outlook

Where to get the feed

Option 1: the club's official calendar sync

1. Go to manutd.com → Fixtures (or open the official Manchester United app).
2. Click "Add to calendar" / "Sync fixtures".
3. Choose Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook and sign in to the sync service once. All first-team competitions are included.

Option 2: the Premier League's club sync

Select Manchester United in the Premier League calendar sync. Depending on the provider this covers league games only or all competitions; check the first cup fixture after subscribing.

Plain .ics feeds

Community .ics feeds for United are widely available. Check that the next televised game shows the right day and time before trusting one; stale feeds still show the provisional Saturday 3:00 PM slot.

Add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook

Once you have the schedule link (it usually starts with webcal:// or ends in .ics; a league's "sync" button hands it to your app for you), the steps are the same for every sport:

Google Calendar

1. Open calendar.google.com on a desktop browser (the mobile app can't add subscriptions).
2. In the left sidebar, next to Other calendars, click + → From URL.
3. Paste the link, then click Add calendar. It appears under Other calendars and syncs to your phone automatically.
4. Optional: click the three dots next to the calendar to give it a color, or untick it when you need a quiet week.

Apple Calendar (iPhone, iPad, Mac)

1. iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link, tap Next, then Save.
2. Mac: in Calendar choose File → New Calendar Subscription, paste the link, click Subscribe. Set Auto-refresh to Every day (or Every hour during the playoffs) and tick iCloud so it reaches all your devices.

Outlook

1. Outlook on the web / new Outlook: Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste the link, name it, click Import.
2. Classic Outlook desktop: File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New, paste the link. If game times look a few hours off, the desktop app ignored the feed's time zone; the web version doesn't have this problem.

Season structure

Manchester United play the Premier League (38 games), the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and, in seasons they qualify, the Champions League or Europa League. Old Trafford hosts around 25 to 30 games a season. Only the league weekends are fixed from June; the day and kick-off time of each game are set by TV picks up to six weeks ahead and can move again for cup and European ties.

Kick-off times in UK, US and Indian time

Conversions assume both regions are on the same daylight-saving side. Europe and the US switch on different dates (late March / late October in Europe, mid-March / early November in the US), so for two or three weeks a year the gap is one hour smaller. Your calendar app converts each event correctly; this table is only for planning.

The Manchester derby and other dates to watch

The two league derbies against Manchester City sit on weekends fixed in June; their exact day and time are announced with the TV picks. Cup derbies are possible on top. Any subscribed feed updates the derby automatically; if you want a placeholder now, add an all-day event for the derby weekend shown on premierleague.com.

Time zones

Feeds tag games in UK time (GMT in winter, BST in summer). Google Calendar and Apple Calendar convert automatically. The UK and the US switch clocks on different dates, so for a couple of weeks in March and late October the usual five-hour gap to US Eastern becomes four; the feed is right, the table above is approximate.
