How to Add the MLS Schedule to Your Calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook)

Where to get the feed

Option 1: the official club schedule sync

1. Open your club's schedule page: mlssoccer.com/schedule filtered by club, or the club's own site (for example intermiamicf.com/schedule).
2. Click "Sync schedule" / "Add to calendar".
3. Choose Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. League, Leagues Cup and playoff games are included once scheduled.

Option 2: Apple TV's MLS Season Pass

If you watch on Apple TV, the Season Pass adds "Follow" options in the TV app that surface upcoming games and notifications. It does not create a calendar subscription by itself, so combine it with option 1 if you want games in your calendar.

Plain .ics alternative

Community .ics feeds per club exist but are less consistent than for the big European leagues. Check the next Saturday's kick-off time before relying on one.

Add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook

Once you have the schedule link (it usually starts with webcal:// or ends in .ics; a league's "sync" button hands it to your app for you), the steps are the same for every sport:

Google Calendar

1. Open calendar.google.com on a desktop browser (the mobile app can't add subscriptions).
2. In the left sidebar, next to Other calendars, click + → From URL.
3. Paste the link, then click Add calendar. It appears under Other calendars and syncs to your phone automatically.
4. Optional: click the three dots next to the calendar to give it a color, or untick it when you need a quiet week.

Apple Calendar (iPhone, iPad, Mac)

1. iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link, tap Next, then Save.
2. Mac: in Calendar choose File → New Calendar Subscription, paste the link, click Subscribe. Set Auto-refresh to Every day (or Every hour during the playoffs) and tick iCloud so it reaches all your devices.

Outlook

1. Outlook on the web / new Outlook: Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste the link, name it, click Import.
2. Classic Outlook desktop: File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New, paste the link. If game times look a few hours off, the desktop app ignored the feed's time zone; the web version doesn't have this problem.

Season structure

MLS currently runs from late February to early December with 30 clubs in two conferences, each playing 34 regular-season games. The 2026 season paused for the FIFA World Cup in June and July and resumed in mid-July. Nine clubs per conference reach the playoffs; the first round is best-of-three, later rounds are single games, ending with MLS Cup in December.

Big change ahead: in 2025 the league announced a move to a fall-to-spring calendar aligned with Europe. The plan is a short transitional "spring season" from February to May 2027 followed by the first full fall-to-spring season starting in July 2027. A subscribed feed carries you through the change; anything you typed by hand will not.

Alongside the league, clubs play the Leagues Cup (with Liga MX clubs, in summer) and the US Open Cup or Canadian Championship.

Kick-off windows to expect

• Saturday evenings — most games kick off at 7:30 PM local time; with clubs from Vancouver to Miami that spans 7:30 PM Eastern to 10:30 PM Eastern
• Sunday afternoons and evenings — a smaller slate, often 3:00, 6:00 or 7:30 PM local
• Wednesday nights — midweek rounds, 7:30 PM local
• Leagues Cup — late-July and August evenings, group games in a compact window
• Playoffs — mostly Saturdays and Sundays, with times set by the broadcaster a week or two ahead

How to pre-add the 2026 playoffs

Playoff matchups are only known on Decision Day, and the best-of-three first round means dates depend on results. Block these windows as all-day placeholders:

• Wild Card games — the week after Decision Day, late October 2026
• Round One (best-of-three) — late October to mid-November 2026
• Conference semifinals and finals — late November 2026
• MLS Cup — early December 2026, hosted by the higher seed

Time zones

Feeds tag games in the home stadium's local time. Following an East-coast club from the West coast (or a Vancouver or LA club from the East) is exactly the case where hand-typed times go wrong; Google Calendar and Apple Calendar convert every event automatically.
